Your Helsinki guide Karin Niiniharju-Järvinen

Karin Niiniharju-Järvinen - Your Helsinki Guide

I am Karin, a barefooted resident of Helsinki. I spent my childhood in the heart of Helsinki, in Merihaka. As a young person, I spent one summer in the Åland Islands and took a month-long language course in Torquay (United Kingdom) and Berlin.

I love new experiences and adventures, but as a nostalgia-seeker, I read paper magazines and proudly navigate forward using traditional maps.

As a guide, I am humorous and organized - I get to the bottom of things and genuinely consider the wishes of my clients. I anticipate and investigate. I do my guiding work with a full heart and great passion. The comfort of my clients is super important to me. I also have three children (ages 13, 10, and 4), so I enjoy guiding young people very much! In my free time, I love studying languages, dancing, and keeping up with the current cultural events and happenings in Helsinki!

Now I have worked for 12 years as a tour guide in Helsinki for various groups. I have also conducted several different tour excursions for many years for different cruise ships here in Helsinki like Aida Cruises, Mein Schiff, Celebrity Cruises, Silver Sea Cruises, MSC Cruises, Europa, Costa Cruises, Hamburg and many others. I love my hometown and I am eager to show you best places and hidden gems of town. I am also happy to give you recommendations.

Thank you for supporting local business! ❤ From love to Helsinki.
